The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the largest worldwide gathering of marketing and advertising professionals, as well as advertising's most prestigious awards. Each year, industry figures from the advertising and related industries gather to attend this event to celebrate the best of creativity in all major media, discuss industry issues and network.
Over 40,000 entries from all over the world, consisting of Film, Outdoor, Print & Publishing, Radio & Audio, Design, Mobile, PR, Direct, Media, Creative Data, Social & Influencer, Titanium, Film Craft, Digital Craft, Industry Craft, Brand Experience & Activation, Creative eCommerce, Innovation, Product Design, Creative Effectiveness, Glass Lion, Entertainment, Health & Wellness and Pharma are showcased at the Festival.
A unique programme of high-profile seminars, workshops, forums and master classes organised by some of the biggest names in the industry, is also presented.
Winning companies receive the highly-coveted Lion awards, honouring the most creative film, press, outdoor and digital advertising, as well as the best media, PR, design, radio, direct marketing solutions and sales activation.
As the Singapore representative of Cannes Lions, Mediacorp promote the Festival to the local advertising community, nominate outstanding advertising personalities for the Cannes jury, run competitions for young talents and organise winners exhibitions.
The 65th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity will be happening from 18 to 22 June 2018 in Cannes, France.
The Cannes Lions juries are drawn from creative experts in each field around the world. Each year, over 300 members from the creative communications industries are invited to serve on the juries that consider and award all the entered work at the Festival.

Every year, Cannes Lions hosts the Young Lions Competition for young creative professionals to prove their skills and talents at the global level. As the official Cannes Lions Representative for Singapore, Mediacorp organises the annual Mediacorp Young Lions Competition to select the best teams to represent the country in the prestigious Cannes Young Lions Competition.
The winning teams earn themselves each a fully-sponsored trip which includes return airfare, accommodation and festival passes to attend Cannes Lions in June.
