bibap
Food for the Eyes, Ears and Mouth! bibap, Brand New Korean Beatbox Action comedy engages all your senses!

SYNOPSIS

Korean non-verbal shows and musical aficionados must not miss bibap, -a brand new, Korean Beatbox Action comedy, conceptualised and produced by the creative team of highly successful shows such as JUMP, BREAKOUT! and Nanta. Aptly named bibap as it is an acronym of bibimbap (Korean mixed rice), this multi-sensory show displays the unconventional cooking skills of two highly talented chefs. They will be whipping up mouth-watering dishes such as sushi, pizza, Chinese chicken noodles and bibimbap.

bibap is the first performance to combine eating and entertainment on stage. Beatboxing, b-boying, musical, cooking and food tasting will be presented right before your eyes in this show. Each action is superbly executed through energetic dance and fantastic harmony and will definitely keep audiences spellbound and mesmerised.

The exhibit of pure energy coupled with beat box, a cappella, dynamic music and sounds of washing, cutting, frying and eating food, produce a perfect harmony, just as all the different ingredients are mixed together to create bibimbap! bibap premiered in Korea in May 2011 and has made itself known to the world as a refreshingly original cultural show. It proved global potential through its success at Edinburgh Festival in 2010, forecasting the new marketing for Eatertainment. bibap was favourably received by critics at the festival and continues to attract international visitors in Korea today.

bibap is not to be missed! Join us for the show and experience 90 minutes packed with brilliant comedy, dynamic music, acrobatics, beatbox, a capella, martial arts and cooking.
